Panasonic recently discovered that it had suffered a data breach that allowed attackers to access its file servers and steal data, the company announced late last week.
The technology company said its network was breached on November 11, 2021, and "some data" on its servers was exposed to attackers. However, it's unclear whether customer or other sensitive data was stolen in the attack.
In a statement, the company said: "In addition to conducting its own investigation, Panasonic is currently working with a professional third-party organization to investigate the breach and determine whether the breach involves customers' personal information and/or social infrastructure-related Sensitive information."
