Notice on removing the list of apps that infringe user rights and interests
Since the beginning of this year, our Ministry has continued to promote special rectification actions for APP infringement of user rights, intensified regular inspections, and organized three "look-backs" on key issues with strong user feedback. On November 3, our department inspected APPs for violations such as requesting permissions beyond the scope and high frequency, collecting user personal information that is not necessary for service scenarios, deceiving and misleading users to download, and conducted rectification on APPs that failed to complete rectifications as required. Public notification. As of now, there are still 5 APPs that have not completed rectification according to the requirements of our ministry (see attachment 1 for details). In accordance with the overall deployment of our ministry, all communications administration agencies have actively carried out APP technical testing. As of now, there are still 101 APPs that have not yet completed rectification (see attachment 2-8 for details).
in accordance with"Personal Information Protection Act》《cyber security"Act" and other relevant legal requirements, our ministry has organized the removal of a total of 106 APPs mentioned above. Relevant app stores should immediately organize the removal of the applications on the list after the release of this notification. For some apps that have serious violations and refuse to make corrections, the local communications bureau should impose administrative penalties on the APP operators in accordance with the law.
