ClearFake attack uses Atomic Stealer to target Mac systems

ClearFake is a new malware distribution operation that utilizes a fake web browser update chain to deliver a macOS information stealer called Atomic Stealer to its targets. This is the first time we've seen a social engineering attack campaign originally specific to Windows expand to operating systems and geographies. Atomic Stealer is a commercial stealth malware that can steal data from web browsers and cryptocurrency wallets.
