Pwn2Own Consumer Products Finds 58 0day Vulnerabilities

The Pwn2Own Toronto 2023 hacking competition has concluded with teams successfully exploiting 58 0day vulnerabilities and winning a total of $1,038,500 in prizes during the 3-day competition. The competition targeted mobile and IoT devices, including devices such as the Apple iPhone 14, Google Pixel 7, Samsung Galaxy S23 and Xiaomi Mi 13 Pro. While there were no successful breaches of the iPhone 14 and Pixel 7, a contestant managed to break into the patched Samsung Galaxy S23 multiple times.In the end, Team Viettel won the contest, earning $180,000 in prizes and 30 Pwn Masters points.
