The Clop gang has announced a new victim company on its data breach site on the dark web, Dacoll Limited, an ICT hosting services, network infrastructure and electrical contracting provider that has access to the Police National Computer Network (PNC) .

Clop reportedly demanded a ransom from Dacoll after launching a "phishing" attack in October that gave it access to data, including PNC, containing the personal information and records of 13 million people. When Dacoll refused to pay, the hackers uploaded hundreds of files to the so-called "dark web" for publication.

The releases also include images of motorists, which Clop appears to have taken from the UK's National Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system, and the videos include close-ups of the faces of drivers caught speeding. It's unclear what additional, possibly more sensitive, information Clop might post on the dark web that could be stolen by fraudsters.
